History Online is a portal offering access to a range of digital historical resources published by ProQuest Information and Learning. The portal page is subscription sensitive, enabling institutions to only view links to the products they are subscribed to.

Among the resources available through the portal is the History Study Centre, an ideal resource for undergraduate historians. It offers a vast and cross-searchable collection of digitized primary and secondary sources, extensive libraries of historical images, video clips and respected reference works, a selection of student guides and a Web gateway. At the core of History Study Centre are the Study Units, pages on over 500 historical topics from the Vikings to Bill Clinton, each with content drawn from a huge variety of resources, carefully selected and organised by a team of expert editors.
